In addition to their EV chargers, they provide a diverse array of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) tailored to the various demands of industrial and commercial applications.
Your new role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled BESS Engineer with extensive integration experience to support the design, development, and integration of their innovative battery system products. As a subject matter expert in all things BESS, you will play a critical role in driving this business unit forward and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
The client offers a diverse range of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) specifically designed for industrial and commercial applications. In this position, you will work closely with the engineering, leadership, and sales teams to ensure that products meet and exceed customer requirements.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead the design, integration, testing and commissioning of battery systems products.
* Developing custom system solutions to meet client requirements.
* Review, develop, and document quality standards and processes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
* Collaborate with the Engineering team and Product Manager to develop and deliver BESS projects.
* Ensure safe working procedures and policies are followed.
What you'll need to succeed
* 5+ years of BESS experience.
* C&I BESS experience.
* Bachelor/Master of Electrical Engineering.
* BESS integration experience.
* Fluency in Mandarin is highly desired.
* BESS pre-sales and project management experience highly desired.
* Client-focused with exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
