Your Main Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals, enhance market presence, and develop new revenue streams. Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Collaborate to optimize performance and drive revenue growth. Assist with obtaining and improving TMR accreditation and standing. Manufacturing & Production: Oversee the entire manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, and minimize wastage. Implement and monitor production schedules, budgets, and resources to meet production targets. Continuously improve manufacturing processes and techniques to enhance productivity and product quality. Adhere to Australian National and TRM standards. Financial Control: Daily/weekly/monthly cost control. Procurement and Purchasing. Basic cash flow, budgeting and financial reporting. Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Manage staffing levels, recruit new team members, and conduct performance evaluations. Ensure that team members receive appropriate training and development opportunities. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to minimize workplace hazards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any identified issues promptly. Ensure adherence to ISO20001:2015 standards. Operational Efficiency: Analyse and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to enhance overall performance. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sales Growth: Increase in sales revenue and market share. Production Efficiency: Achievement of production targets and reduction in production costs. Financial Control: Oversight of Income and Expenses. Quality Control: Ensure quality production in line with ISO20001:2015 standards. Safety Compliance: Zero workplace accidents and adherence to safety standards. Employee Retention: High employee satisfaction and retention rates. Cost Management: Efficient use of resources and control over operational expenses. Qualifications: Relevant experience in precast/concrete manufacturing. Qualification in Business, Civil Engineering, or Manufacturing would be an advantage. Proven track record in operations management in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of sales, business development, and production processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
