Position Profile
This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
The role involves managing the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based and sustainable programs which maximise the health of Aboriginal populations and target groups within the Great Southern region.

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world.
We provide health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
Our core business is the provision of quality, accessible health services to country WA residents and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based and sustainable programs.
* Work with community groups to build sustainability of Aboriginal Health programs.
About Our Area
The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
We have six large regional hospitals, 15 medium-sized district hospitals and 48 small hospitals.
Along with this, we have 31 health centres and nursing posts, four dedicated mental health inpatient units and 24 dedicated mental health services.
