Summary: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This role will allow you the autonomy to implement efficiency improvements that impact our whole business.
Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices in the billing system and processing batch paymentsReconcile bank statements, credit card transactions and expense claimsCommunicate with colleagues, customers and vendors regarding financial matters, managing our accounts inboxesManage fixed asset registerAssist with payroll processingQualifications: Tafe or University qualification in an accounting or related field5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accountingStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software, such as XeroExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently, at pace and meet deadlinesKnowledge of Australian payroll employer compliance obligations and GST, New Zealand not required but highly regardedUnderstanding of internal controls, record keeping and audit trail requirementsRole Type #J-18808-Ljbffr
