Are you a skilled RF Technologist with expertise in engineering subsystems and testing protocols? We are seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Technologist to support engineering projects focused on RF hardware design, testing, and systems integration. This role involves working closely with team members to design, document, and troubleshoot RF systems to ensure optimal performance across various critical domains.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct design, integration, testing, and documentation of RF engineering subsystems. Develop and execute testing plans and procedures, utilizing advanced testing tools. Provide detailed technical documentation and engage in continuous improvement processes. Troubleshoot and debug embedded hardware using tools like oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers. Essential Criteria: Strong background in RF system design, deployment, sustainment, and troubleshooting. Expertise in earthing, power, transmission, and timing systems. Skilled in testing integrated solutions against design specifications. Experience with bespoke cable manufacturing and testing for optical, coaxial, and signaling applications. Location: Canberra.
Contract Duration: 12 months with 1 x 12-month extension options.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have TSPV clearance to perform this role.
