Job Description
As a Lecturer within Midwifery, this position will contribute to the teaching and course coordination and curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contribute to the development of midwifery knowledge through research and scholarship.
This is a continuing, full time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Logan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $110,464 - $131,180 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $129,242 - $153,480 per annum.
Qualifications
You will also have:
* Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) registration as a midwife.
* Possess a Masters degree, and preferably enrolled in a doctoral degree, in midwifery or a relevant field.
* Demonstrated expertise in midwifery practice and leadership in service to the profession or industry are required.
* Previous midwifery teaching experience is highly desirable.
