If you have strong organisational and communication skills, a desire to help communities thrive, and a collaborative spirit, this is the perfect opportunity for you!What your day will look like:Support the preparation of reports and budget submissions to CouncilSupport the development, implementation and administration of Council’s Community Grants Framework including policy, programmes, processes and guidelines to ensure that Council is delivering a best practice programme that meets Council’s strategic objectivesAdminister Council’s Community Grants Programme to ensure an efficient and effective system that provides a continuous improvement focusUsing a community development approach, support the development, implementation and education and information programme for Council’s Community GrantsUndertake stakeholder liaison and engagement to ensure that Council has a reputation for accountability, transparency and compliance with internal grant programmesWhat you’ll need for success:Previous experience in an administrative roleWhat’s nice to have:Qualifications in a related/relevant fieldDemonstrated experience in the area of community grants administration using a community development approachBenefits of Working with CouncilCommitted to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge and talent.
