Compass Group Australia is seeking a Specialist - Data & Reporting to manage Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting, implement best practices in data management, and uplift our people and safety reporting capability. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory obligations are met while driving meaningful insights and improvements across the business.As a key part of the People & Safety team, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting on workforce and training data to support strategic decision-making. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights will help shape our diversity, equity, learning and people strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesWGEA Reporting: Prepare and submit annual reports, analyse workforce data, and collaborate with leadership on gender equality strategies.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Reporting: Partner with Diversity Equity and Inclusion SME’s to design and implement reporting solutions to analyse DE&I data to drive insights for informed decision making and future improvements.Data Management: Implement processes and practices for documenting and maintaining people and safety master data, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and up-to-date data definitions & taxonomies.LMS Compliance Reporting: Monitor training data, generate reports, and support learning and development initiatives.People & Safety Reporting: Enhance workforce dashboards covering recruitment, turnover, safety, and diversity metrics.Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with People & Safety teams, Payroll, IT, Finance, and leadership to deliver impactful reporting and insights.The PersonWe’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in data management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have:A degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, HR, or a related field.2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management.Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.Intermediate to advanced Power BI proficiency in creating compelling dashboards and reports, including using the Power BI platform to perform ETL / data modelling and write DAX expressions to support data analysis and visualization.Experience with WGEA reporting & LMS compliance reporting (preferred).Experience with best practices relating to data governance practices, implementing, and maintaining data definitions & data classifications.Strong organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail.The ability to communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.A collaborative mindset with experience working in fast-paced environments.The BenefitsYou will have the support, infrastructure, systems, and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
