About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer Officer to join their team in Parramatta some flexibility to work a few days remotely from home per week. This is an estimated 3month assignment, with a potential to extend. Working within the Eastern Harbour City South Team, you will be required to conduct routine network investigations and technical assessments whilst making recommendations for improvement to achieve organisational objectives Responsibilities: Provide expert advice on network management to support effective issue resolution and positive project outcomes. Conduct thorough investigations, audits, and technical assessments on road networks, ensuring accurate site information is gathered to recommend network improvements. Implement and maintain network management procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes Respond promptly and thoughtfully to customer issues, maintaining a strong customer focus in all communications. Assist in traffic and safety projects, including reviews of speed zones, signposting, and delineation. Prepare orders for minor works to improve the network. Collaborate on the development of preferred solutions for network improvement projects, ensuring outcomes that meet quality standards. Work closely with other precincts to build a unified approach to traffic, speed, and safety management across the network.
