The Innovation and Redesign Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Program Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity:
To contribute to the development and implementation of a program of projects to promote the systematic uptake of clinical research findings and other evidence-based practices into routine practice, to improve the quality (effectiveness, reliability, safety, appropriateness, equity, efficiency) of health care at the Mackay HHS. To support the promotion, understanding, and capability development in project management, implementation science, and knowledge translation methodologies and frameworks, uncovering new knowledge about complex interventions through improved understanding and knowledge of implementation and complex systems change within the Mackay HHS. About the Team:
The Mackay Institute of Research and Innovation is an emerging health service-led translational research and innovation centre; a collaboration between Mackay HHS and James Cook University/Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine.

Supporting clinicians to undertake research in areas of strategic interest. Leading the Tropical North in Occupational Health and Safety Research.
