Women's and Children's Health Network, Allied Health, Complex Sub-Acute and Spiritual Care, Elizabeth (5112)Salary Classification - RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 - $87,416 to $110,497 Full time - Term Contract (Temporary up to 12 months) About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the 3D Health team as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife - Encompass, where you will be responsible for: Providing community health support services based on specialist knowledge in disability and health care needs.Using specific health plans to train and assess the competency of health support workers for individual children.Managing an allocated caseload, including reviewing and updating health plans and reassessing workers for individual clients across multiple venues.Leading and supporting Registered Nurses in other agencies providing delegation of care for clients with complex and invasive health care needs who may also have disabilities.Enabling safe access, attendance, and participation of clients in community settings such as education, childcare, family day care, or respite.Performing clinical responsibilities while managing assigned portfolios aligned with individual career development plans.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experienceDemonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervisionExperience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
