About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our client's team in Truganina. This newly created role is ideal for someone with construction experience, preferably trade experience, who is energetic, driven, and looking to advance their career. The BDM will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the client base.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Actively pursue and win projects, demonstrating a strong drive for success.
2. Work closely with the lead generation team to convert opportunities into solid deals.
3. Engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and understand their needs.
4. Leverage technical and design knowledge to develop client confidence and project success.
5. Oversee the technical aspects of projects to ensure high standards and cost-effectiveness.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, demonstrating strong leadership and people skills.
7. Utilise existing industry contacts to foster new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
8. Construction experience, ideally with hands-on trade experience.
9. Technical proficiency in translating design knowledge into client confidence.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
11. Strong client-focused approach with a track record of delivering successful projects.
12. Existing network within the industry that can be leveraged for business development.
13. Demonstrated ability in sales or business development roles, with a history of winning projects.
