SEQH reside on company owned sites in both Hemmant and Toowoomba. Both of which are undergoing current + 2025 future planned infrastructure developments that have been initiated by genuine growth. It’s an exciting time to join!
Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our integrated logistics departments—Warehouse Operations and Log Export Packing. Collaborating closely with the Warehouse Manager and Log Export Packing Manager, you will drive efficiency and growth within these departments, ensuring optimal inventory management, cost control, and compliance with safety regulations.
Job Description:
* Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
* Logging Area Oversight: Lead the logging area, maintaining data integrity and compliance with customer standards.
* Team Leadership and Performance: Foster a high-performance team culture through training, motivation, and regular performance reviews.
* Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety and compliance with health and environmental regulations.
* Cost Control Management: Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives that enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
* Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements that boost productivity and reduce downtime.
* Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on operational performance and areas for improvement.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years in warehouse management or logistics.
* Proven leadership skills with a track record of improving operational efficiency.
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements
