About the CompanyWe are looking for a Injury Management / Workers Compensation Specialist for a NSW government client based in Olympic Park with 3 days in the office and 2 WFH. This role is paying $55 - 65 per hour + super and is a 4 month contract.About the RoleApplying the principles of the Workers Compensation Act 1987, Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998, and amendments, WHS Act 2011, WHS Regulations 2011 and other associated WHS legislation.Proven experience in strategic planning, high level advice and implementation of rehabilitation plans in a high risk management framework consistent with business goals and strategic objectives.Develop and implement claims management strategies to improve outcomes and health and safety strategies and initiatives, including early intervention and psychological claims management.Workers compensation, injury management return to work ideally in a Health Care context and the commitment to identifying strategies to reduce claim duration and cost.Use strategic thinking for positive outcomes in Return to Work and Injury Management.Skills & ExperienceKey knowledge and experience with complex workers compensation claims.High level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.Influence and drive outcomes and to work as part of a team or independently without supervision.SIRA accreditation - Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.Driver's License.How to ApplyClick APPLY if you are interested.Please note only suitable candidates will be contacted.
