About the Role
As a Mental Health Recovery Practitioner at Richmond Wellbeing, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and empowering consumers on their journey towards recovery and achieving their desired quality of life. You'll cultivate therapeutic relationships with consumers, their families, and significant others, delivering high-quality services aligned with Richmond Wellbeing's values, mission, and vision. Your responsibilities will encompass facilitating group sessions, conducting personalised recovery work, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our services. Flexibility and adaptability are key as duties may vary in response to operational needs.
People Accessing Our Services
* Promote contemporary attitudes and practices towards personal recovery and person-centred care.
* Identify and include family members, carers, and significant individuals in the consumer's support network as directed.
* Develop and implement recovery-focused group and individual programs for consumers accessing Richmond Wellbeing services.
Recovery Plan Support
* Collaboratively develop and regularly review meaningful recovery plans.
* Provide holistic services addressing total well-being, including physical health, in alignment with mental health outcome areas.
* Assist Recovery Support Workers in implementing actions towards consumer's recovery plan goals.
* Attend relevant clinical, administrative, and interagency meetings as necessary.
Group Facilitation
*
o Support planning and implementation of recovery-based support groups.
o Foster consumer participation in developing and leading co-produced and consumer-led groups.
o Facilitate groups based on experience, knowledge, and capability.
Service Operations
*
o Ensure timely completion of all documentation in accordance with Richmond Wellbeing policies and procedures.
o Actively participate in internal meetings, supervision sessions, and training activities.
o Contribute to maintenance of Richmond Wellbeing facilities and property.
o Address all incidents according to Richmond Wellbeing's policies and procedures.

This position is full time position, offering 75 hours per fortnight based at Kelmscott Community Options.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
Qualifications
* Minimum Diploma or University qualification in health or relevant human service discipline.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in working in mental health or community services setting.
* Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, promoting total wellbeing and holistic health services.
* Experience in facilitating therapeutic groups.
* Trauma informed practice skills and the understanding of the impact of trauma and literacy around trauma responses.
* Ability to facilitate emotional and personal recovery.
* Ability to hold hope for recovery.
* Positive attitude towards people experiencing mental distress.
* Lived experience of mental health recovery or as family members of people with a lived experience of recovery is desirable
Other
* Current National Police Clearance
* Valid First Aid certificate
* Current WA driver's license
