Having doubled in size over the past 18 months, this workforce of 250 are ready for a hands-on Payroll Manager who can manage the end-to-end payroll processes as well as ensuring compliance,completing projects and doing ongoing system maintenance.

About the Role
Working closely with the HR team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
* Overseeing the end-to-end weekly payroll processing.
* Preparation of PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, Long Service Leave, and Superannuation payments.
* Maintenance of the wage forecast.
* Management of the payroll system and the willingness to become a super-user.
* End of Month and EOFY reconciliations and reporting.
* The ability to interpret complex Awards and EBAs.
* Calculation and processing of termination payments.
* Management of payroll-based adjustments such as back pays, WorkCover, and taxation requirements.
* Undertaking payroll projects to continually improve systems and processes.
* Ensuring compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
About You
As an experienced Payroll professional with 5+ years’ experience. The successful individual will have excellent problem solving skills, the ability to thrive in a complex payroll environment, as the ability to look ahead to the future.
You will have a down-to-earth approach and an innate ability to empower, educate and communicate effectively at all levels.
You are a self-starter, adopt a proactive approach to problem solving, enjoy working in a hands-on capacity and have a high level of resilience.
