Overseeing comprehensive primary health care service delivery and leading a multidisciplinary team. Developing and implementing systems for clinical care delivery and workforce management. Providing medical advice and establishing linkages with other health providers for optimum care coordination. Leading clinical quality, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Managing and supporting the professional development of clinical staff. Enhancing service access and income through Medicare billings and referral pathways optimisation. Maintaining professional development and compliance with vocational registration requirements. AHPRA Registered as a Medical Practitioner. RACGP or FACRRM. Experience in leadership and coordination. Ability to provide clinical services across the remote areas within the West Arnhem region. An understanding of and commitment to the principles of continuous quality improvement. An understanding of how the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity and Work Health and Safety apply to the delivery of primary health care services. Demonstrated computer literacy, particularly in the use of electronic health record. Ability to travel to remote areas for periods of time by road and light aircraft. NT Ochre card and Criminal History Clearance. Full rights to work in Australia.. Previous experience working in a remote health environment. NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
