About the Role
This position works closely with consumers to identify needs for specialised services, implement referrals and provide support.
The Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife will provide clinical expertise, including being a resource person in the delivery and coordination of nursing and midwifery care within the Women's Health Clinic and the Maternity Assessment Unit as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Employment Type: Permanent part time (up to 64 hours per fortnight)
* Location: Warrnambool Campus
* Classification: Registered Midwife Grade 2
* Salary Range: $81,364.40 - $100,146.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What You Bring:
* A Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife holding a current Registration Certificate as required by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in both General Nursing and Midwifery Nursing
* Demonstrated clinical expertise and use of evidence based clinical practice to facilitate positive patient outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to work independently
* Demonstrated commitment to improve service delivery, clinical practice and minimise risk
* Demonstrated communication skills, written and oral
* Demonstrated commitment/evidence of commitment to professional development of self and others
