We are currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join a very prestigious literary organisation. This role would be perfect for someone looking for a hands-on role with a real mix of operational support, infrastructure management, and project work. Working in a team of four, you will play a vital role in supporting a small team of experts based in London and New York, within an exciting and growing sector.The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with three days based across their two sites in West London and two days remote.Working closely with the Head of IT, you will be the main point of escalation for all 2 nd /3 rd line queries for 70 users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, One Drive, Intune, and Active Directory. As Senior Engineer, you will also oversee the management and coaching of junior IT staff.You will have previous experience in driving transformation projects, as you will be supporting in moving from on-premise Windows Servers to Azure Cloud platforms including Office 365 migration, in addition to overseeing the implementation of a new CRM system.Responsible for networking and automation, you will have hands-on experience with networking concepts, including VLANs, firewalls, routing, and networking configurations. Using your automation tool skills, you will implement and automate processes as well as managing Azure AD integrations across all systems including Office 365 and on-premise servers.The ideal candidate will:Have previous experience in an Infrastructure Engineer role.Be confident at 3rd line support with Microsoft Technologies, Office 365 Administration.Have previous experience in Azure migration projects.Have strong knowledge of Azure AD integration and hybrid environments.Possess knowledge of automation tools e.g. PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI.Be solid with Networking including VLANs, firewalls, and routing.Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Be a great communicator and team player.As well as offering a supportive and collaborative environment and hybrid working, the salary on offer is up to £55,000 with generous benefits including a 7% pension scheme, employee assistance programme, season ticket loan, cycle scheme, and enhanced sick, maternity, and paternity pay.
