Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and ambitious State Account Manager with an end user focus to help grow our market share in Food Service. This role will execute the end user strategy on a state basis, partnering closely with Distributor Account Managers and National Account managers to build the full product offering in the Food Service market.

About the Role
This role will be responsible for creating sustainable business relationships with key state end user and distributor groups within Food Service and identifying opportunities for volume and value. You will conduct regular business reviews with key distributors and end users to identify areas for improvement and further growth opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Understand the push/pull method of sales into distributors and end users
* Create sustainable business relationships with key state end user and distributor groups within Food Service and seek all opportunities for volume and value
* Conduct regular business reviews with key distributors and end users to identify areas for improvement and identify further opportunities for growth
* Consistently review the in-year plan and financial metrics, and prioritise the requirements based on risks and opportunities to meet calendar year financial budget
* Analyse industry and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage
* Identify portfolio opportunities for growth and target new customers
* Build your territory through cold calling and new customer acquisitions, logging each account and call into Salesforce
* Drive compliance in national accounts on a state level
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years' experience as a Territory/State Account Manager / Business Development Manager in Food Service
* Strong understanding of the end user and distributor landscape in Victoria
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
* Proficiency in CRM software and MS office suite
