But if the above sounds like a match, get in touch today and get ready for the possibility of starting a once-in-a-career journey.About the RoleAs the Group Payroll Manager, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of the Nuix Payroll Operations team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of Nuix Group's end-to-end payroll processing and time management across multiple geographical locations. You are also responsible for leading the overall Payroll function through audits and compliance following legislation and implementing new enhancements and processes.We are looking for a results-driven and dynamic self-starter who is pro-active in wearing many hats to embrace and contribute to the People & Culture team activities whilst also dedicated in supporting the learning and development of the Payroll Operations team. This position will be based in our Sydney office. The successful applicant is required to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining 3 days of the week.Key Responsibilities Global Payroll Processing / Centre of Excellence Overall accountability for the delivery of accurate and timely processing for all payroll transactions and time management across 10+ geographical locations.Manage the setup and hygiene of all payroll systems including employee profile updates, earning codes, deduction codes, tax configurations and account ledger allocation.Designing and streamlining payroll processes to ensure increased efficiency and effectiveness.Communicate needs proactively to all stakeholders to drive changes to adapt to both legislative and in-company policy changes.Take ownership of payroll operations team development and cross-functional training to limit single-point sensitivities within the department.Coordinate communication with Payroll personnel on payroll process changes required and establishment of a continuous improvement program.Foster a customer-focused approach, establishing clear communication channels and processes for employees to contact payroll directly with enquiries, concerns, or feedback, ensuring timely responses and resolution of issues.Collaborate and build rapport with the Global People & Culture Team and cross-functional team to act as the center of excellence to provide expert advice to the business on all matters relating to global payroll. Global Payroll Tax / Compliance Stay updated with the tax laws and payroll regulations of all locations.Ensure activities under the payroll operations function are compliant with local laws and international standards.Ensure timely registration, preparation and submission of required reports and documentation to government agencies.Act as the key liaison for internal and external payroll-related audits.Set internal control procedures in accordance with management and audit expectations to ensure continuous compliance. This includes establishing and maintaining documentation of consistent and repeatable payroll SOPs. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 5+ years previous experience in managing multi-geographical locations and or complex payroll environments, with the proven ability to lead and deliver projects.Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.A proactive seeker of feedback who fosters personal and team growth through reflection and continuous improvement.A clear, impactful communicator who informs, inspires, motivates, and influences others to drive team success.
