The Senior Committee Support Officer and Committee Support Officer are responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to the Development Assessment Panels (DAP’s).
This is an open pool recruitment process for a mixture of opportunities at our Perth office. Suitable applicants will be placed in a Pool from which appointments may be made for similar vacancies for a period of 12 months.
To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:
Senior Committee Support Officer (L4):
1. Experience in both agenda production and preparing minutes of meetings in an electronic operating environment, with the ability to train and mentor staff in agenda and minute production, website publishing and other committee support functions.
2. Considerable analytical skills, with experience interpreting and applying legislation.
3. High level computer and written communication skills, with experience in preparing clear, accurate and grammatically correct documents, which include, but are not limited to, briefing notes, cabinet submissions, correspondence, preparing agenda and minute taking.
4. Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Personal Leadership as outlined below
Committee Support Officer (L3)
5. Experience in providing administrative and support services.
6. The ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and policies to ensure statutory compliance of all committees.
7. Proficiency in the use of MS Office and the ability to learn new systems.
8. Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Personal Leadership as outlined below
