What You’ll be doing:
The District Administration Coordinator provides assistance and high-level support within the section by planning, organising and coordinating the administration of the unit's human resources, financial management, budget, records and purchasing needs. The role liaises with the staff at all levels and volunteer members of the RFS. Reporting to the District Manager, the District Administration Coordinator coordinates a full range of administrative functions and processes to ensure the smooth running of the District Office and activities.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* The ability to flexibly respond to changing business and operational priorities, responsive to the needs of internal and external customers.
* The skills and experience to provide purchasing assistance in accordance with procedure and policy and guidance to peers on finance and purchasing.
* Strong attention to detail, an eye for business improvements, and accuracy and efficiency in keeping with office practices.
* The ability to use corporate systems and databases to maintain the District's record-keeping in accordance with policy obligations.
* The ability to lend support to the team to deliver projects or programmes, and the confidence to take ownership and accountability of appropriate taskings.
