Clough has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Specialist to join the Waitsia Team in Dongara! Reporting to the Commissioning Superintendent you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and technical aspects of commissioning all electrical and instrumentation equipment.
The Waitsia Gas Project is ranked one of the largest gas fields ever discovered onshore in Australia and Stage 2 involves further development of the gas field with new wells and a new production facility. Clough is currently undertaking the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope of the development, near Dongara, Western Australia.

Your focus will include:
1. To coordinate Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning preparation and activities for all electrical scope of work
2. Write and give input to the creation of Electrical Commissioning Procedures
3. Safely supervise all personnel engaged in Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning activities inclusive of vendor, contractor and operations personnel
4. Ensure all work is performed to Australian Standard, Legislation and project standards
5. Ensure Project Completion System CCMS is maintained and up to date for all mechanical scope
6. Maintain a EEHA Register and ensure compliance prior to commissioning
7. Provide input into planning and all required reports
8. Ensure all changes and modifications made are controlled and are advised to the As-built control procedures
What you will bring to the team:
9. Relevant Degree in Electrical Engineering with a min. 5yrs experience post Degree as an Electrical Engineer OR a min. 15yrs experience in lieu of a Degree
10. Solid experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning (O&G essential)
11. Good computer skills essential
12. Construction White/Blue Card
13. Current C Class Drivers Licence
14. Strong people management and leadership experience
15. Able to remain calm under pressure and to lead by example
16. Excellent communication skills liaising across project stakeholders
