As a trusted advisor, you will provide financial insights that drive commercial decision-making and optimize profitability. Key Responsibilities: Business Partnering: Work closely with Sales, operations, Branches, and Collections teams to provide financial insights and support key business decisions. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets. Commercial Insights: Analyze financial metrics and operational data to identify trends, present findings, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance business performance. Reporting & Systems: Utilize Microsoft Power BI and NetSuite to create dashboards, automate reporting, and improve data visibility for operational teams. Data Alignment & Reconciliation: Ensure consistency and accuracy between financial reports and operational data by reconciling discrepancies across various systems, including claims and fleet management software. Variance Analysis: Investigate variances in sales and operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities for growth. Cost Control & Profitability Analysis: Monitor and report on profitability across products, customers, and branches to ensure sound investment decisions. Training & Upskilling: Support non-financial teams by delivering training on financial tools, reporting, and financial acumen. About You: Experience: At least 5 years in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, or business partnering roles. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, NetSuite, and financial modelling. Experience with other ERP or reporting systems is a plus. Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable way to non-finance teams. Analytical Thinking: Proven experience in identifying trends, forecasting risks and opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations. Industry Knowledge: Experience in automotive, fleet, financial services, or multi-site businesses would be advantageous. Qualifications: CA, CPA, or equivalent accounting/finance qualification preferred. A background in a Big 4 firm transitioning to a commercial environment is highly desirable.
