An exciting opportunity awaits to join an established and market-leading Retail Shopping Centre Owner. Our client boasts an enviable portfolio of shopping centres and now requires a dynamic Centre Manager to join their team.
The Role
As the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for maximising revenue and ensuring the retail profile is in line with strategy and budget. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Preparation and implementation of strategic business planning, income and expenditure budgets and oversee marketing and operations for the Centre
2. Building strong relationships with the local community and other stakeholders
3. Work collaboratively with the Leasing Executives to seek leasing opportunities to maximise income
4. Initiating, establishing and maintaining relationships with retailers
5. Financial Management including forecasting, ensuring financial targets are met and constant understanding of all arrears
6. Identifying opportunities for cost savings
7. Leading and guiding the Centre Management team
8. Reviewing and analysing centre performance including rent reviews and the preparation of monthly reporting
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced Centre Manager with strong financial acumen and excellent leadership and management skills.
Outstanding negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills are a necessity. Most importantly you must have exceptional communication skills and be able to develop strong relationships with retailers and external stakeholders.
