Essential Qualifications:
Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanderdescent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do nothave the essential qualification, may apply for and beengaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitledto apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring aqualification in Social Work within the Department for ChildProtection (DCP).
4. AHP (Allied Health Professionals) – A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
5. PO (Professional Officers) – An appropriate degree qualification in community services, sociology, criminology, justice, correctional practice, social sciences, health, human services, mental health or related field.
