About this RoleWe are looking for a dedicated IT Systems Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will be passionate about technology, proactive in solving problems, and committed to delivering high-quality IT solutions to support our business operations.In this role you will:
Oversee daily operations, manage tickets, and troubleshoot systems like Office 365, Azure, Intune, Atlassian Suite, Github, and Windows.
Configure and maintain devices, optimize network performance, and address issues to ensure minimal disruption.
Administer, monitor, and optimize a fleet of endpoint devices, ensuring their security, performance, and alignment with organizational standards.
Respond promptly to IT help desk requests, offering efficient and effective support to end-users.
Monitor IT systems to spot opportunities for improvement and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
Take ownership of tasks and projects such as enhancing system workflows, integrating tools, or optimizing IT infrastructure.
Proactively identify technical challenges, propose solutions, and implement improvements to boost efficiency and user experience.
Document processes, solutions, and technical recommendations to ensure consistent IT support and knowledge sharing.
Work closely with software and hardware developers, technical staff, and management to design and implement IT solutions that align with business goals
To be successful in this role you will:
Hold a degree or equivalent education/training in a relevant discipline.
Have 2+ years’ experience administrating IT infrastructure and providing IT support.
Demonstrate experience in administrating platforms such as the O365/M365 suite, Jira/Confluence, and Windows based platforms
Ability to support end users and their devices in a corporate environment using AD/Entra ID/Group Policy/Intune
Understanding of networking principles and the administration of network infrastructure e.g.(Palo Alto/FortiGate/Ubiquiti)
Ability to take an automation first approach using tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment with a willingness to learn new technical skills.
