An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, experienced and people-driven individual to join the City of Albany team in the position of Manager Economic Development and Commercial Services. This leadership role reports to the Executive Director Corporate and Commercial Services Albany’s and is integral to managing the City of Albany’s economic development and commercial service activities. This dynamic role will see you responsible for: Managing and implementing projects that seek to create sustainable economic and tourism development and improve the commercial services of the City; Working within and across the City to ensure that strategies, services and processes support sustainable economic and tourism development of the region; Promoting and facilitating sustainable economic development, tourism and business strategies and opportunities in the City of Albany local government region; Developing and delivering activities and services that attract and support sustainable tourism development in Albany and the Great Southern Region; and Leading and managing the business of the Harry Riggs Albany Regional Airport.
