About the RoleReporting to the Port Site Services Supervisor, the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technician will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and reliability in our Port Substations, Shiploader Cabs, Rail workshops, and site buildings Air-Conditioning systems such as VRVs, Split Systems, Package Units, Chillers, CRAC units, Ice Machines, and Air Dryers.
Other responsibilities include:
Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of plant and equipment;Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development;Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process;Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation;Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour;Participate within the Site Services to implement business plans consistent with site strategies/plans;Monitor the Site Services work plan and elevate unplanned and non-routine activity or performance to the Supervisor;Perform all aspects of planned, breakdown, and shutdown activities regarding Air-conditioning systems maintenance;Carry out system-generated on and offline inspections.What is on offer?Permanent employment with BHPResidential accommodationRelocation assistance & expenses coordinated by BHPNovated leasingOn-going progression and training opportunities for your careerSuper matchingOther benefits such as hotels, flights, and shopping discounts.About YouAs the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
