The successful candidate will assist with the management of aggressive and/or difficult patients and visitors, respond to alarm signals to ensure a safe and secure work environment for staff, patients and visitors. The position will also undertake cleaning duties to a professional standard and per the local cleaning schedule and in accordance to Ministry of Health Standards and Procedures. What you will bring to the role: Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A) Recent experience working in a Hospital Security Officer or Health and Security Assistant role Ability and willingness to work shift work, unsupervised and as part of a team Demonstrated sound, written and verbal communication skills Understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality principles Demonstrated understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel Current First Aid Certificate Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
