Job Description
The Senior Therapeutic Specialist represents Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base within a specific geographic area. You will play an integral key role in meeting with Health Care Professionals in their place of work for example, but not limited to; hospitals, prisons, drug & alcohol centres. Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales, utilising your in-depth level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge, leveraging data sources to build comprehensive & insight driven account plans, you will promote the appropriate use of Gilead products to healthcare professionals. You will adopt an omni-channel approach.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Achieving and growing ongoing sales targets in assigned territory.
* Promotion of the appropriate use of Gilead products to healthcare professionals.
* Strong accountability for developing, adapting and growing business plans for your territory and communicating required actions to achieve goals.
* Strong aptitude to develop in-depth market interpretation of sales analysis data.
* Strong emotional intelligence with a patient centric approach when problem solving.
* Ability to work collaboratively cross functionally to achieve company goals.
* Works as an individual & team contributor Effectively networks with thought leaders.
* Completes necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner e.g. updating customer database, expenses etc.
* Responsible for achieving the competency levels required in the role.
* Compliance with all regulatory agencies, state, and federal law is required.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
* Extensive relevant selling experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (>7 years).
* Experienced in key account management (>5 years).
* Serves as technical expert of assigned product, therapeutic classes, and patient needs in order to educate/influence key physicians.
* Strong existing relationships with KOLs and PAG's within their territory.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation ability to manage multiple projects/activities at any given time.
* A BA or BS degree (or equivalent).
