Job Description
We are currently recruiting for the fulltime position of Export Documentation Officer based in our office in Abbotsford. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate production of export container shipment documentation. Key responsibilities include:
1. Manage container / bulk shipping including liaising with customers, accepting vessels nominations, communication with packing houses, bulk handling companies, transport operators, shipping companies, banks, superintendents, and Government departments.
2. Preparation of shipping documents including Letters of Credit.
3. Co-ordination of container packing with packers
Experience
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
4. Experience in export documentation
5. Experience in the bulk commodity and/or container export industry
6. High attention to detail and data accuracy
7. Ability to work within team environment
8. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
9. Ability to interact effectively with employees, customers and third parties
