An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time (22.5 hours a week) Floor Coordinator position, working 3 evenings a week in the Theatre department of a private hospital in Melbourne. ABOUT THE ROLE The Floor Coordinator role is operational and responsible for the overall management of the Operating Suite in the evenings. REQUIREMENTS As an outstanding Floor Coordinator, you are able to engage, collaborate, and communicate broadly and have the ability to respond to constant changes and demands as they present. Your skills will include:
1. At least 5 years of experience in the Perioperative Department;
2. Previous management experience required;
3. Post Graduate qualification desired;
4. Exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to lead, coach & support clinical teams;
5. Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).
