Job Description
We are currently looking for a Patient Management System Administrator to join our dedicated term. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinics by managing and enhancing the University's Patient Management System, ensuring smooth functionality and integration for all users.
Your key responsibilities for this role will include:
* Manage the Patient Management System daily, making necessary configuration changes and corrections.
* Provide first-line technical support for clinic operations, including PCs and peripherals, and coordinate escalation when necessary.
* Offer expert advice on policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to Patient Management System, while ensuring system security and protecting against unauthorised access.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders from various departments to integrate the Patient Management System and develop essential reports using Microsoft SQL Server.
* Coordinate with Digital Services and vendors for system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
* Support business analysis, change management, and testing of new systems and upgrades.
* Ensure systems are up-to-date and maintain business continuity plans.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will hold an undergraduate degree in Information Technology (or equivalent industry experience) or health care industry experience, preferably in a systems administrator role.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:
* Recent experience with MS SQL Server databases including T-SQL programming or project management experience.
* High level general computer skills including Microsoft 365 Suite expertise and Windows skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with a variety of clients to provide a high level of professional customer service.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve client and system problems, lead system innovation and optimisation, prioritise work, and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, and a flexible approach to working outside normal business hours to resolve problems or to assist with carrying out maintenance.
What we can offer
This is a continuing, part-time (80%) position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus.
As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $89,603 - $95,575 per annum (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $104,835 - $111,823 per annum (pro-rata).
