About the role
Joining our team means you’ll work alongside hazardous materials & occupational hygienists, experienced environmental scientists & engineers, geologists & hydrogeologists, and remediation and waste management consultants on a wide variety of projects.
This role offers a huge variety of tasks which reflect the diversity of projects you’ll work on. No two weeks will be the same!
You’ll learn how to be responsible for:
4. Hazardous materials/asbestos assessments and inspections
5. Occupational hygiene monitoring and asbestos fibre counting
6. Managing field programs for a range of contaminated site investigations including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and validation
7. Observing, guiding, and recording site remediation activities
8. Data management, interpretation, and quality assurance/quality control
9. Assisting with writing proposals, project correspondence and technical reports
10. Engaging with our clients and contractors and delivering and managing end-to-end projects.
Our project line-up includes some of the biggest and most significant environmental projects in the NT. We provide specialist services to the Department of Defence, Federal and local government agencies, and several tier 1 mining companies.
Joining forces with our sister companies, Eco Logical Australia, Norman Disney Young and RPS lets us tap into a whole bunch of skills and resources. Together, we tackle tough challenges head-on, making sure our solutions are creative, solid, and fit each project like a glove.
About you
To shine in this great career development role, you'll need to:
11. Have qualifications in environmental science(s) or relevant industry experience
12. Have confident communication and great relationship building skills
13. Be prepared to work remotely and regionally within NT as required
14. Hold a full Australian driver’s license
15. Be an Australian permanent resident or citizen (required for the Dept. of Defence)
16. Previous experience gained in relevant field/site work will be an advantage.
