The Customer Category Manager is a vital member of the Category team within the SGS Commercial function at Suntory Global Spirits. This role focuses on driving category growth with key retail partners, leveraging deep category insights and fostering strong retailer relationships. The Customer Category Manager will develop a deep understanding of the category to foster world-class relationships and lead category growth initiatives.
Role Responsibilities
1. Lead the execution of a 12-month category plan, aligned with retailer objectives and insights.
2. Establish SGS as a category thought leader by forging strong retailer partnerships.
3. Present innovation plans that align with retailer category vision.
4. Contribute to achieving Joint Business Plan by executing the category plan with cross-functional teams.
5. Develop perfect store guidelines to support category growth objectives.
6. Serve as the category expert, tailoring strategies to retailer needs and leading retailer category reviews.
7. Foster a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to an engaged workplace.
8. Adhere to and promote SGS policies and procedures.
Qualifications
9. 5+ years in marketing, customer, or category management.
10. Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or Marketing preferred.
11. Strong analytical skills (Circana/Quantium).
12. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
13. Space Management experience is desirable.
14. Confidence presenting to customers and internal stakeholders
