This role will be an exciting opportunity for those looking for their next challenge Job Duties Reporting into the Head of Finance, the role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving: Developing, mentoring and leading a close knit team of 3 x Payroll Officers Oversee the payroll processing for approximately 1,500 employees across Australia & New Zealand Managing multiple weekly and monthly pay cycles Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency Reconciliation of payroll accounts and auditing / reporting as required Provide training and mentoring to develop and enhance team performance Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders Candidate Profile The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes: Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills with a proven ability to positive influence Excellent communication skills both written and verbal The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs Strong analytical skills with a forward thinking & solution focused mindset Effective time management & organisational skills Prior experience with system implementations / integrations Exposure to pay runs in both Australia & New Zealand is advantageous What's on Offer Office located in the Melbourne's City Fringe Flexible work arrangements including working from home arrangements Job security in a permanent role Excellent salary package in line with experience ($125,000 - $150,000 super bonus) Support, inclusive and enjoyable working environment Outstanding career development on offer working for a global organisation Play the vital role in leading a close knit team whereby you can mentor and positively influence employees To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
