At the forefront of the industries transition to zero emission buses, we are incredibly proud of, and passionate about the extension range of vehicles we offer.Despite rapid growth during this period, we remain an Australian owned and family operated with branches now located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Cairns.Due to this growth, we have an opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified National Finance Manager to join our finance team to assist us through this period on a permanent basis.
The role will answer to the Chief Financial Officer and is based in Brisbane at our production facility in Eagle Farm.Key ResponsibilitiesSome of the duties will be, but are not limited to:Manage a team of 6 reports located across AustraliaComprehensive knowledge of GST, Payroll tax, FBTMaintenance and reconciliation of 4 separate entities trial balancesAdministration of the Company's Trade Finance facility, including preparation of documents, and update of all summary sheetsATO reporting including preparation of BAS & remittance of PAYG amountsBe prepared to do the hands-on work needed to keep balance sheet accounts reconciledQualificationsWe are looking for someone who:Holds an Accounting DegreeHas knowledge of ERP Systems – currently using Pentana DMS accounting softwareIs goal and target driven, with a keen sense of urgencyIs prepared to be hands-onHas exceptional people and customer service skillsHas excellent time management, organisational and communication skillsCan work autonomously and methodically as part of a larger team with a positive approachIs focused on a high attention to detail and the ability to adhere to systemsCan build & maintain good working relationships with staff and managers across the VDI networkHas excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteHas operational knowledge of the use of SharePoint and TEAMSHas knowledge and experience with general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payableHas a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar roleVDI Australia is an equal opportunity Company that encourages and supports diversity and inclusion in all our workplaces.
