Permanent full-time opportunity to take lead in managing optimal use of Metro North property (land and buildings) and expenditure/revenue lease matters in so far as they relate to health service provision, on behalf of Metro North Health (MNH) and in line with service priorities.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide leadership, management and oversight for all property activities across MNH, in accordance with agreed strategic directions.Liaise with Finance Department to maintain currency of MN Asset Register in so far as it relates to land and buildings.Ensure MNH statutory responsibilities, which came with transfer of ownership of land and buildings from the Department of Health to MNH in 2014, are upheld.Review and update property management policies, procedures and standards in particular around space and lease management.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
