About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for aPacking Supervisor to join our team based at our Enfield site.
As a senior operative within the operations team, you will oversee all functions to meet the packing schedule and customer requirements.
You will monitor the Packing Operation for optimal performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Additionally, you will ensure timely data capture in SAP, MIMO, or similar software, and engage your team to maintain productivity Detailed responsibilities of this role include to: Ensure the weekly plan is followed to meet sales forecasts and customer requirements.
Oversee accurate blending of flour and filling of bulk out load and other packing bins.
Maintain adequate supplies of packing consumables to meet production requirements.
Record production data as required into SAP and MIMO.
Ensure team adherence to company procedures related to HSE, food safety, quality, and GMP.
Communicate all breakdowns to the maintenance team, head miller, and production manager.
Ensure accurate recording of information in all instances in MEX or INX.
Conduct thorough clean-downs of equipment as required.
Communicate major issues to the manager, including breakdowns, external contractor requirements, absenteeism, serious harm/H&S issues, and production out-of-spec incidents.
Provide full shift details during shift changeover meetings.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
About you The suitable candidate will possess: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a packing or production environment.
Familiarity with SAP, MIMO, and other relevant software.
Strong understanding of OH&S and food safety standards.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Customer service orientation.
High attention to detail.
Strong team-building and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
