We are excited to offer you the opportunity to find your place within our dynamic and ambitious team.Summary of PositionReporting to the Resource Planning Manager (RPM), this position is responsible for the provision, advice, and delivery of crew rosters, assisting with the planning and recovery of Flight and Cabin Crew training events into the live or future roster.The primary objective of this role is the production of compliant rosters by assigned deadlines, with proactive consideration of quality measures such as bid satisfaction (where relevant), fairness, productivity targets and operational robustness. Compliance is measured against regulatory and industrial requirements, company policies and guidelines. The role is also responsible for the conduct of general administration duties as pertaining to resource planner.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreparation and publication of Air Crew rosters in compliance with the relevant aviation regulations and the relevant crew industrial agreements whilst considering operational efficiency.Monitoring and reporting on the operational status of crews for the purposes of roster preparation.Liaise with the Crew Records Officer to ensure compliance of all crew currency, training, check and licensing requirements to ensure that the operational status of crews is maintained. Communicate potential issues with relevant departments.Liaison with the Check and Training team for the planning of all training requirements for the published/unpublished roster period.Planning and rostering of Simulator bookings in accordance with the regulations, EBA’s and company policies, ensuring where possible minimal simulator cancellation fees.Coordinating of internal and external training Instructors/Providers to enable roster build.Booking of any flight, transport and accommodation requirements as required during the roster build.Communication with crew members of required roster changes.Arranging, in conjunction with Flight Operations and Cabin Crew Management, meetings, interviews and admin requests as required by the Roster Handover Document.Construction and publication of crew pairings in accordance with EBA, CA048, and operational manual requirements, whilst ensuring maximum crew utilisation and cost efficiency.Providing information reporting to Management including preparation and presentation (as applicable) of statistical reporting on roster performance including Flight and Cabin Crew productivity, actual roster performance versus plan.Proactively seek rostering efficiency gains and ensure rostering does not result in unnecessary costs (e.g. travel related costs, penalties etc.).Assist with the planning and programming of all intake training, ground schools, command training and transition training for crew in consultation with HOTC/CCTM.Manage crew training and checking disruptions and recovery in conjunction with the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and Crew Training and Recruitment Coordinator (CTRC).Making and managing room bookings required for any roster requirements.Updating crew details into Geneva.Processing and auditing crew leave (all types).Assist when required with payroll and administrative tasks.Review and approval of Crew Timesheets.Checking and processing simulator and other training related invoices.Other duties as instructed by the Resource Planning Manager, Head of Training and Checking and Head of Flight Operations.Personal Skills/AbilitiesAdvanced IT skills using Microsoft Office suite of products.Tenacious with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently under pressure and to meet aggressive deadlines.Proactive and demonstrate initiative, with strong communication skills.High level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality.Ability to operate autonomously within a team environment.Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a Zero Harm and an incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to their position.What we offer:Free onsite ParkingTraining and ongoing support for professional growthWork-Life BalanceStaff discounts with hotels & beauty brandsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your familyHow to applyIf you are interested in this position and meet the listed requirements, please apply with a cover letter and an up-to-date resume that outlines your relevant experience and meets the mandatory requirements.
