As the Service Owner Payments & Commercial Solutions, your key purpose is to manage and lead the Payments & Commercial Solutions portfolio.You will lead a driven team to deliver the product and pricing strategy and future roadmap adhering to internal policies & regulatory requirements, deliver key strategic initiatives, and manage the day-to-day product management activities in the portfolio and programs to realize outcomes.Key Accountabilities:Accountable for end-to-end management of Westpac’s debit card portfolio, travel money card (Worldwide Wallet) portfolio, Cheques, and Business Express Deposits.Overall responsibility for Payments experience for Consumer and Business everyday banking customers including construct (simplification), features, execution channels & collateral.Manage portfolio workflow across the squad and proactively plan activities to align with LOB and village priorities.Ensure end-to-end product value chain meets group policy standards, regulatory requirements, and the portfolio risk profile is proactively managed.Gather, assess and maintain a backlog of product process and system improvement opportunities ensuring these meet regulatory requirements, consider the portfolio's risk profile, and meet group standards.Collaborate with Payment domains across Consumer Finance, Merchant Acquiring, and Institutional division to align on strategy and best practice.Understand issues and opportunities facing consumer and business customers by interacting with relevant stakeholders and distribution partners.Identify, manage & monitor product portfolio & features relative to customer, performance & risk outcomes.Manage non-financial risk including proactive & reactive risk management and regulatory & remediation activities.Manage day-to-day product activities including complaints management, banker queries, control execution, product incident, and issues.Compliance with the Product Lifecycle Policy.Provide subject matter expertise on various engagements.What’s in it for me?You’ll play a significant part in the future of a business that has been around for 200 years.
