You will be joining the events and office team as our dedicated Office and events manager. The role: Staffing - Managing our army of casual event staff for rostering events across Victoria on a weekly basisRecruitment, onboarding and training of casual event staff Organising staff events, well being and staff rewards & recognition initiatives Event planning including liaising with a considerable amount of clients simultaneously, logistically planning and accurate record keepingAssisting the office team with relaying critical event and logistics information to the warehouse and events teams. You should be comfortable owning a project from start to finish in a fast paced, challenging and sometimes ambiguous environment.Developing processors and procedures to help grow the business and ensure outstanding results are met company wide.Ad hoc administrative tasks About you: Being an important point of call for the business always ready to rise to the occasion and go the extra mile.A respectful and empathetic person, staff who work for you respect and admire you do will do almost anything for you. Due to the nature of the business you will be required to troubleshoot last minute staffing or logistical queries on the weekend (mainly Saturdays) as required. Flexibility to manage events from time to time will also be required. Due to our location in Moorabbin having access to your own vehicle is prefered and parking is available onsite.
