IT Systems Administrator
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our international IT team in Brisbane, Australia.
This role will involve working with diverse IT systems across various regions, providing hands-on support and enhancement of our infrastructure.
You will be the primary point of contact for our APAC staff during office hours, reporting to the Global Senior IT Manager based in Seattle, USA.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Administration: Develop and maintain Microsoft 365 technologies, including Intune, Exchange, and SharePoint.
* User Support: Provide hands-on assistance, troubleshoot issues, handle requests, and support onboarding for new staff.
* Systems Management: Oversee servers, desktops, mobile devices, and network hardware through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Project Involvement: Participate in global projects, including infrastructure revamps, security overhauls, and backup/storage improvements.
About You:
* Experience: 8+ years in IT support and projects, ideally transitioning from helpdesk to more advanced technical roles.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, mobile device management, server technologies (Windows Server, Proxmox, or Hyper-V), and systems security practices.
* Certified: Certifications in areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, and security are advantageous.
* Problem Solver: Capable of diagnosing and solving issues independently, with a desire to learn and grow.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey technical information clearly to users.
* Customer-Focused Support: Deliver exceptional service by actively listening, empathizing, and providing timely, accurate solutions to technical issues.
* Enthusiastic: Eager to tackle technology-related challenges, even beyond current expertise.
* Business Partner: Experience as an IT business analyst, partnering with business units to create solutions supporting company initiatives.

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000 to $145,000 AUD annually.
You may also be eligible to participate in our profit share program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
