Job Description We are presently recruiting Registered Nurses to join our team on site at Darwin's Immigration Detention Centre, located on the Darwin Airport precinct.
Part of a small, cohesive team of medical professionals, you will provide primary health care to people undergoing immigration supervision.
Day to day responsibilities include: Provide the most suitable health services for detainees Ensure a coordinated approach to health care delivery Undertake clinical duties such as immunisations, blood collections, wound dressing and health assessments and medication administration Deliver efficient, evidence based chronic disease management Ensure prudent use of medical supplies and clinical resources Collaborate with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders These roles will be predominantly afternoon shifts (12.30pm to 8.30pm) with some morning and weekend shifts also rostered.
This recruitment is part of a significant government project for HCA.
