Job Description:
The Construction Field Representative I assists with the firm’s design teams in the construction administration phase.
Requirements:
Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a technical degree related to the architecture/construction industry, construction project management, or superintendent roles.
Inspection services experience is also acceptable. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
Responsibilities/Skills:
* Monitors project for construction document compliance.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
* Provides existing conditions verification and as-built services (pre and post-construction).
* Provides on-site representation services.
* Travel to various project sites from local sites to more remote sites in other states, including overnight stays as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods, climb ladders, handle stressful situations, multitask, and work under time constraints. Long hours may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Overtime (40+ hours) may be required as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to handle stressful situations, multitask, and work within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets.
