Our client is urgently looking to introduce a Quality Control technician to their team

4. Casual Contract, Full time Monday to Friday 38 hours per week - possible permanent engagement thereafter

Key Responsibilities
6. Conduct environmental sampling using swabbing techniques in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
7. Ensure meticulous documentation of sampling details including location, time, date, and environmental conditions.
8. Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
9. Prepare and handle sampling equipment and materials
10. Facilitate the timely delivery of samples for testing laboratories
11. Collaborate effectively with team members and address any discrepancies or issues.
Desired skills and experience
12. You will have a relevant tertiary degree in food science, microbiology or a related scientific field
13. Experience in production or manufacturing environments
14. Knowledge of GLP and ISO 17025 is advantage
15. Knowledge or working experience in performing test method modification or method suitability testing
16. Previous experience in a NATA or CNAS accredited laboratory preferable
