Exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated hands-on Farm Manager to join our team on various aggregation. These positions will work closely with the General Managers and be responsible for timely execution of farming processes along with the implementation of corporate and governance processes.ResponsibilitiesDaily management of the aggregation encompassing planning, financial performance, operational and employee managementTimely execution of farming operations with cropping and livestockImplementation of the businesses policies and proceduresExecution of transformation and sustainability activitiesDeveloping a strong culture of teamwork, employee wellbeing, and continuous improvementWorking closely with Gunn Agri Partners who provide finance, HR, and WHS supportRequired SkillsSolid experience in managing a modern, large-scale broadacre crop farmLeadership experience in managing and directing staff and contractorsPrevious experience with agriculture management systems (such as AgWorld), interpreting agronomic advice and budgetingExperience in livestock will be considered advantageous including exposure to Agri WebbKnowledge of sustainable practices is desirable and/or a willingness to adopt and adaptOperating and maintaining cropping, farm, and/or earth moving machinerySound understanding of work health & safety requirements to ensure a safe workplaceBe physically fit and able to fulfill all requirements of the roleHold a current drivers’ licenseAble to confidently use Microsoft Office productsWillingness to partake in the local community such as joining the local fire services/brigadePay range and compensation package - An attractive salary package of base salary, super, performance incentives, work vehicle, comfortable accommodation, and phone allowance will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity Statement - We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
