What you’ll do:
1. Accurate and timely processing and preparation of policy administration activities including quote preparation, new business, endorsements, cancellations and renewals into mainframe or web applications specific to Workers Compensation.
2. Monitoring and actioning the centralised mailboxes or Insurance Workflow systems.
3. Action and process exceptions from our extended offshore teams and ensure that work flows through to correct next step for our customers.
4. Strong emphasis on cross training within the team including yourself and team members
5. Update and maintain SOP’s as requested by Technical Officer or Leaders, including identifying trends to reduce referral exceptions or improve customer experience.
6. Support Underwriting requests as required.
7. Maintain knowledge of our products and insurance guidelines
8. Adhere to the functional alignment model putting our customers first
What you’ll bring:
9. Demonstrated experience and high performance in a business operations role
10. Proven experience in balancing multiple key deliverables in a dynamic environment
11. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing data input activities
12. Developing problem solving skills, including the ability to consider different possible solutions to a problem and the application of judgement required to resolve minor issues
13. Analytical skills, including the ability to apply underwriting guidelines/experience in preparing recommendations for individual risk acceptance or declinature.
14. Interpersonal and customer service skills including ability to deal with difficult customers and build relationships and rapport at all levels
15. Computer literacy and navigation skills.
